International Women's Division - About Us 

The Keren Hayesod International Women’s Division (IWD) is the world wide meeting place for Jewish women of vision and principle. Determined to make a difference, Women's Division activists work to help secure Israel's future and to ensure the well being of the Jewish people. With branches on five continents, the IWD engages in programs which are both life saving and defining of the Jewish future. Linked together in a bond of friendship and mission, IWD participants share their creative energy in formative social, educational and communal activities.

The IWD focuses on the people of Israel who are most vulnerable, most fragile, most in need and most threatened. They are also deeply involved in helping to reinforce the foundations of Jewish life and in advancing the values of social justice and democracy. Through all that they do they seek to contribute to the making of a more hopeful and proud future for our children and grandchildren. Keren Hayesod women make a difference. 

Jewish history includes the story of bold Jewish women, women of vision and courage, women whose passion and determination made a difference.   The IWD offers women the oportunity to contribute to the writing of history in our time. The IWD is a vibrant global community of committed Jewish women dedicated to ensuring the continuity of the Jewish people and the strength of the State of Israel. The IWD invites women to share in our passion and to contribute with their intelligence, their creativity and their resources to help us meet the great challenges and opportunities we face. Local Keren Hayesod Women’s Division groups are eager to welcome new members and friends.
