Greg Masel

Greg Masel was born and raised in Australia. He has a BA in Economics and Politics as well as an MBA from the University of Western Australia.

Coming from a Zionist family, it was natural for him to make Aliyah to Israel. Keren Hayesod – UIA was the organization most suitable to his ideology and background.  He joined the Head Office in Jerusalem in 1994, serving in a variety of senior management positions before becoming Director-General of the organization in 2004.
Keren Hayesod – UIA is a global organization that, since its establishment in 1920, has played a central role in both realizing the national Zionist dream and in helping millions of Jews to realize their personal dreams. Greg is responsible for 57 Campaigns on five continents, operating in over 22 time zones, which further strengthens this important agenda.

During Greg’s tenure and with the assistance of committed leaders and donors from around the world, Keren Hayesod has raised close to one billion dollars. Under his seasoned leadership, the organization has grown in size and scope of activity, expanding into new geographic markets, and charting new frontiers in fundraising.
His forward-thinking expertise has been critical in Keren Hayesod’s forging ahead into new territories:  notable are the central role Greg played in developing the Keren Hayesod Endowment Fund to ensure the organization’s long-term fiscal stability. He also initiated the establishment of Forum, an exciting international network of future leaders and mega-donors. Forum positions KH-UIA as the world's leading Israel-oriented fundraising organization. He also led Keren Hayesod-UIA's entry into the digital arena through intensified activity in the New Media.

Greg represents Keren Hayesod on various key committees and boards.  These include the Prime Minister's Coordinating Committee, headed by the Prime Minister of Israel, which outlines Israeli policy vis-à-vis the Diaspora; the Jewish Agency Executive; Birthright-Taglit and the Ethiopian National Project.
Greg lives in Jerusalem with his wife, Rinat. Together, they instill in their six children the values of Zionism and love for the State of Israel.
