UIA Victoria celebrates their dedicated volunteers 18/06/2012 On Wednesday 13th June, UIA held its volunteers dinner - an evening which celebrates and acknowledges the hard work and dedication of our volunteers who form the backbone of our organisation. The evening was MC'd by Zeddy Lawrence, the National Editor for the Australian Jewish News who did a marvellous job of bringing the evening together even reflecting on his own experiences of growing up in England with the UIA and the importance of volunteering. Shirley Lowy, herself a lion of Judah recipient, welcomed everyone to the morning tea at the home of Lauren and Bruce Fink. More
