Belgium became the first KH Campaign to bestow the title of "Herzl Founder"!
Mr. Chaïm Kaufman, from Antwerp, one of Keren Hayesod's most faithful and generous donors and a 1998 Yakir KH Award recipient, was named the first Herzl Founder, at a ceremony that took place during KH Belgium-Luxemburg's solidarity gala on September 18 at the prestigious Château du Lac at Genval, near Brussels.
Johanna Arbib-Perugia, Chairman of the KH World Board of Trustees, guest of honor, José Maria Aznar, former Spain Prime Minister, and no fewer than three KH Belgium-Luxemburg Chairmen (Jacques Spijer, Antwerp, Victor Levy, Brussels and Patrick Aflalo, Luxemburg), honored Mr. Kaufman for his decades of continuous and generous support for Israel and the Jewish people in what was one of the highlights of a very memorable evening.
The "Herzl Founder" club was recently founded by KH to express its gratitude and appreciation to its most faithful (over 25 years) donors.
