Today, May 17, 2012, Mr. Max Mazin one of the leaders of Spanish Jewry died in Madrid
Max, survivor of the Holocaust, spent most of his life defending the rights of the Jewish people and fighting anti-Semitism.
He was President of the Jewish Community in Madrid and later served as the Honorary President of the Jewish community, and Honorary Chairman of Yad Vashem, Spain.
Mr. Mazin was a key figure and played a major roll in establishing the diplomatic relations between Spain and Israel.
The worldwide family of KH stands by his widow and his children Atara Daphna, Daniel, Ariel and Michael, in their grief and share with them these painful moments.
