which aims to rid the world on oil dependence. Moodi described the feeling in Israel over the past few weeks particularly in relation to Keren Hayesod's response during Operation Pillar of Defence
. In a matter of days, the world family of KH-UIA united to raise much needed dollars to fund the installation of mobile bomb shelters. This is just one of the many examples of how KH-UIA is at the forefront of serving the national priorities of the State of Israel.

Shlomo Werdiger (UIA Victoria President), Jeffrey Goldberg (Guest Speaker)
Guests also heard from Author and Journalist Mr Jeffrey Goldberg who is a National Correspondent for The Atlantic Magazine and a columnist for Bloomberg View. As the former Middle East Correspondent, and former Washington Correspondent for The New Yorker, Goldberg was in a position to discuss the Middle East situation and commented on Obama's recent election as one of the forcing drives as to what will eventuate in the Middle East. Goldberg posed the question as to what is worse; engaging in a war with Iran to stop them achieving/obtaining nuclear weapons or engaging in a war with Iran to stop them using nuclear weapons. Clearly Israel should not be waiting for Iran to go nuclear and needs to act accordingly.
Guests were entertained by Mount Scopus Memorial College Year 7 student Hugo Donath.
