While over two million people live in the Negev and the Galilee, hospital care in the periphery lags significantly behind the center of the country. This is reflected in a dire shortage of beds and medical staff, as well as a lack of updated medical equipment and facilities.  The residents of this area include many low income families and new immigrants, who lack the means to travel to medical centers in large metropolitan areas. This project ensures that smaller hospitals that provide vital medical services to local residents but lack the means to raise significant funds for themselves, receive the resources they need to adequately serve local residents.
