Judy & Michael Green, stalwarts of the Jewish and general community of Hong Kong and long-time supporters of Keren Hayesod-UIA in Hong Kong, together with  their relatives from Canada, Barbara and Bruce Patterson, visited the Youth Futures program at the Hagalil School in Tel Aviv on June 2, 2019.

Youth Futures is a flagship program of Keren Hayesod-UIA, and is one of Israel’s leading positive-intervention programs.

It is an unprecedented program of national scope that provides youth-at-risk children and their families with comprehensive, tailored interventions that will enable them to take their place as independent, productive members of Israeli society.

During their visit, the Green family met with Oran Ramati, Director of that Youth Futures location as well as two mentors, who shared personal and inspiring stories about their work with the children. They witnessed how this crucial social-educational project creates opportunities for the strengthening of children, teens, families and communities by means of a model unique to Youth Futures – the model of the Youth Futures Mentor.

They were moved and touched to learn of the immense impact that this KH-UIA project brings to underprivileged youth, across Israel.
