Jerusalem’s Paris Square, with its ubiquitous protest signs, reflects the country’s shifting political and social agenda.  Located at the busy intersection of five major thoroughfares, with traffic zooming by, the panorama changes only on Friday evenings, as the traffic is replaced by pedestrians streaming to synagogues in the area and to the Western Wall.
