Sergio Oberlander is based in Montevideo, Uruguay, where he serves as a Board Member for the Keren Hayesod Uruguay Campaign and the Jewish Community Kehila of Montevideo. He is also an Investor and a member of the Advisory Board for Espacio Cowork and SkillReal.
Mr. Oberlander served in the past as President of Keren Hayesod Uruguay Foundation and headed the leadership of Betar Uruguay. He has received the Yakir Keren Hayesod Award and the “Summa Cum Laude” Knesset Award as a student at Technion.
Sergio holds a Master of Science in Robotics and Industrial Automation from Technion in Haifa, Israel. He became a member of Keren Hayesod’s World Board of Trustees in May 2023 and serves on the Budget and Finance Committee. Additionally, he has been a member of Jafi’s Board of Governors since November 2020 and currently serves as the deputy chair of the Ad-hoc Ethiopian Aliya Committee.
