In Gratitude: Vadim Gluzman

2019 Yakir Keren Hayesod Award recipient

A native of Lvov, Ukraine, Vadim Gluzman graduated from the Moscow Institute of Chemical Technologies with a Master’s degree in chemical technologies. He immigrated to the United States in 1989, and worked as a chemical engineer for Teknor Apex Corporation in Rhode Island. In 1997, he joined Lukoil as President of Lukoil Americas Holding and in 2004, as appointed vice president of Lukoil. He resigned from Lukoil, and in 2012 he co-founded the One Stone Energy Partners Private Equity Fund, of which he currently serves as the co-manager. He is married and is the father of a daughter and two sons.

”Every time I land at Ben Gurion airport, I get goose bumps,” Vadim attests. “I have visited every corner of our Holy Land. The progress and development in just 71 years is staggering. I love our country with all I have and am so happy that I can help in some way.”

“I am very grateful to Keren Hayesod for their tireless work in raising funds that are so necessary to help Israel in so many ways,” Vadim says, adding that Keren Hayesod will continue to play a central role in raising money all while the country’s security needs continue to be paramount. “I would like to thank all the people involved with Keren Hayesod from the bottom of my heart for the job they are doing.
