Lone Immigrant Soldiers Support Program

GIVING A HEAD START TO IMMIGRANT IDF VETERANS

Lone Immigrant Soldiers

WHY THE LONE IMMIGRANT SOLDIERS SUPPORT PROGRAM?

Large numbers of idealistic young Jews from around the world, many of whom are not fluent in Hebrew and lack a social support system, leave their families to serve in the Israel Defense Forces. After completing their army service, these lone soldiers must find housing and pursue an education, while finding a way to support themselves – with no family in Israel to help them.
