Rehabilitative Care for Children with Severe Disabilities

On the eve of Yom HaAtzmaut, during the Independence Day celebration at Rokach, Keren Hayesod had the honor of presenting the Yakir Award to Mr. Meny Samra.
Born in Beirut and raised in a loving Jewish family, Meny’s journey—from escaping civil war to becoming a global Jewish leader—embodies resilience, devotion, and a lifelong commitment to Israel and the Jewish people. As former President of Keren Hayesod Mexico and a recipient of the Herzl Prize, Meny has left a deep impact through philanthropic leadership, strategic vision, and heartfelt dedication.
The evening was made even more special by the presence of participants from the Yom HaAtzmaut solidarity missions, along with Meny’s family and friends, who came to celebrate and share this emotional moment with him.
This tribute reflects his decades of service, unwavering support for Israel, and the powerful bond he continues to nurture between Jewish communities worldwide and the State of Israel.
Mazal Tov, Meny!
